What is the best way to add a summary of qualifications to a resume?

I have been looking at a lot of other peoples resume's on job web sites. Some use a bulleted list and others write a paragraph. What is the best way ? Does it really matter ?

    Mine is in a table format so that I can put in the summary of qualification, school/institution, and year of my education profile. Same goes with my work experiences.

    Table formats are good for academic positions or technical jobs. If you are applying to a position outside of these industries then put them in bulleted list format and keep it brief. Remember, chose key qualifications specific to the job being applied for. (customized resumes get jobs over generic one-size-fits all)
