Is it ok to leave a cats wound?
My cat seems to have got into a scrap and come off worse, it has a wound that is bleeding quite a bit for a while now. Should I leave it alone to heal or do something

NO - get the cat to the vet. Cat wounds close quickly and can trap infection inside making things a lot worse.

Your baby really needs to go to the vet. But if you live in a state like arkansas we can actually buy antibiotics and the pet supply. Also you can put raw honey on the wound, honey is a very good infection fighting agent. I am using it on my dog right now. Depends on what you can afford but don't just leave it alone. Good luck Honey

to respond to your first question: confident, a vet might have the ability to tell if the cat has been neutered or no longer. As for photographs, i'm specific he/she will do some blood tests to be sure. 2nd: As for the canines, i'm uncertain. what variety of canines are they? different breeds react in any different case to cats and different small animals. My suggestion could to no longer permit the cat close to the canines except you're specific they're going to behave. in any different case, it could scare the unfavorable cat sh**much less. If the cat were dwelling in a ghetto, she probably got here upon many aggressive canines. supply the cat and canines it slow to get used to eachother, yet whilst the canines get to roudy, seperate them. My sister offered a cat from a breeder, and from the day the cat became born she had canines barking at her. Now she despises canines. Please, do no longer positioned your cat by using that. you're very sort hearted to convey this cat into your place. Who is familiar with what could have got here approximately had she been passed over there on my own. i'm hoping the ultimate of success to the two one in all you.

I know i'm talking about a dog but my friends dog got a small scratch and it ended up getting some sort of infection that spread through her bones and eventually killed her.
So i suggest getting it to the vet soon.

Bites abscess and become infected. It may need sutures by the vet and antibiotics so I would not leave it alone. Call the vet.

Not if it hasn't stopped bleeding. She may need stitches, medicine to prevent bacterial infections, proper cleansing, and pain medication. Please take her to the vet asap. If your normal vet is closed, take her to an emergency 24 hour animal hospital tonight if you can!
