What if God said mass rape of children was okay?

In Numbers 31... Moses, on behalf of God, not only said taking little girls as war prizes was not only acceptable but commanded.

31:15 And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?

31:16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

31:17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.

31:18 But all the child girls, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

God would not say this. It is not about reason but what is right. If you are trying to talk about abortion, that is a different matter. We don't know when the spirit is placed in a fetus. Many stillborn children are not named and are not counted on the church's records. But babies who are born but then die, are counted on the records. There are a few countries where they do not count on records if theyh are still born or if they die shortly after birth. Rape of children is not right because children are innocent and are to be protected. Parents are stewarts to try to protect them. We need God to remind us of our stewardship and to whom we report on how we have taken care of and protected them. You don't really want an answer but you want to just cause confusion and emotion.

I know in the Old Testament it says if you rape a virgin and don't marry her you have to pay her father the bride's price. I think a better interpretation would be if you seduce a virgin. You say, why not cut out the middleman (God) and just use human logic to make moral judgments. But if God's commands were based on human logic it wouldn't work. The Bible says to love your enemies and to do good to those who persecute you. So, you can't use man's reason to reason out what is right in God's eyes because man would naturally take a different route.
