Anyone remember reading a poem with the line, ...but I don't know where Mowgli is...?

I remember reading this poem in a journal of poetry, something academic, back around 1996-1997. Great poem, heartbreaking, about a dog that was stolen from his owner.

Update:

Where can I find it? How can I find it?

Just Googling obscure poetry I came up with this site. Not exhaustive by any means. Most poets are egotistical and want to be read so if you want to find it, I would wait a month or so and ask your question with just...I don't know where Mowgli is...Perhaps the author will google it at some point and get back to you. Good luck!

there's no longer something like a honeymoon stretched for existence time. an afternoon like this, after some years of marriage, is an indication of mutual love, the place the (actual) cherry is on the (emotional) wedding ceremony cake. while physique language is in fee, its effect is magical. that's what this Villanelle tells me. and that's genuine. quite an relaxing study from a golden pen.
