Pedophilia pertains to attraction to prepubescent kids, so that doesn't really apply. But society calls it pedophilia if an 18-year-old boy has sex with a 12-year-old, even if she's sexually mature. As you note, some 12-year-olds do decide to have sex with each other as part of experimentation, love, or lust. So it's possible that the 18-year-old is doing something the 12-year-old wants (or thinks she wants). But society plays the odds and prohibits that relationship and punishes the boy severely. Because far too often when that happens he's manipulated her in some way, and he's old enough to know better. Society would love to prevent 12-year-olds from having sex with each other and will recommend against it, but they don't send kids to jail for playing around where the two partners are of roughly equal power and manipulation is less likely.

A 12yo can not be a pedophile because only the one 16+ and interested in children below 13 can be one. That does not mean a person is if interested on one but they can be if this behavior stick with them through life. The age limit 16 is set because by then you are more adult than child.

A pedophile is someone who's an adult who's sexually attracted to young children. The pedophile is considered a adult and the child a minor that's at 5 years younger....so no since that just doesn't make sense. It is just kids having sex which it is possible and has been probably done, and yes food does alter hormones, but not to such an extent.

Random fact: Today's food contains a lot of hormones that were put in the animals for quicker production, which is (conspiracy theory/theory) probably why many kids today mature physically much quicker than they use to back in the day. Which is probably another reason to why kids are having sex at an earlier age these days, which is sad since so many people than end up getting abortions for stupid mistakes. Like recently I found out (more like yesterday) that 41% of pregnancies in NYC end up in abortions, which is just sad, yes I'm pro-choice, but it is just sad that it is this way when it can so easily be prevented.
