Is this a near earth asteroid and what is known about it?
In this book ["Planetology", published by national geographic] there is a table of near-earth asteroids, their possible impact date, size, and probability of striking Earth. The second down is shown as "2008 AP4". I looked this up on the web, out of curiosity, but cannot find anything on it. Is it a typo? The book states its 1,279 ft in diameter and has a 40 in 1 millionths chance of hitting earth sometime around 2089-2100.
Thanks if you turn anything up on it, or find its name has been changed.

it may be a theoretical asteroid that was only mentioned for example purposes. i googled it and did not find that asteroid, so it most likely doesn't exist or has not been made public.
