Why is the president against people having the freedom to join a union?

The President favors a law that compels workers to join the union if they work in a union shop. The law in Michigan offers workers the choice to join a union of refrain from joining the union while working in a union shop.

The President opposes the law. He favors the law compelling union membership. As a result, the unions use their substantial resources (union dues) to donate to Democrats' re-election funds and to support political initiatives legalizing gay marriage, abortion, liberal immigration, etc.

Union membership is bad for America and bad for individuals.

Unions are worthless and good for nothing but GM plants. They should be called GM employees and stop trying to trick the rest of the country. As soon as you get 1 cent more from an employer, they take it with dues. Then they sell you their heath care plans that are clinics with quack doctors and expect you to pay Blue Cross and Blue Shield prices.

You don't know jack about President Obama. You're too ignorant to take the time to find out about this great man. Just believe what you are told like a sheep. Why are you against workers rights to decide for themselves what they want?
