mfs why does chicago suck?

You have never been to Chicago have you? Well Jonathan I have been to LA and let me tell you my opinion on it is not a good one and I let my cousins from LA know it. LA to me is probably the most overrated city in America. Why? For the reasons below

1. LA has huge smog it reminds me of when I was in Mexico City with the Smog.

2. Its 80 degrees in the winter and 90 to 100 degrees in the summer.

3. Its way too urban sprawled as in the city is rarely connected together and you have neighboorhoods very spread out and very far from each other.

4. Bus transportation is non-existant, everybody is forced to buy a car, I dont even think ive ever seen a taxi there either.

5. Very Ghetto, Gangs dominate the city outside of Hollywood which is very scary.

6. SPorts- They dont have a Football team. Why?

7. Food-Outside of Mexican food its eh, and I still prefer Chicago Mexican food.

8. Its expensive to live there and Arnold has bankrupt the state.

Reasons why Chicago is BETTER!

1. We have a normal summer of an average of 82 all summer long, and a REAL winter with snow.

2. It is actually a city with probably the best architecture in the whole country and our people are nicer and more down to earth than LA or New York

3. CTA bus transportation in CHicago is among the best in the nation. I could go virtually anywhere in the city wherever I want for a dollar.

4. Our gangs have been a thing of the past, gangs are almost non existant anymore, sure you got your neihborhoods with some gang activity but not nearly like it once was in the 90s. No one really complains about the gangs anymore in the city.

5. Sports. Skip Bayless said Chicago to him is the best sports town in America because we sleep and breathe our Cubs, our Bears, our White Sox, our Bulls, etc... The passion is always there, the only city to rival our sports is Philadelphia with their passion. Michael Jordan, enough said, even has a statue in the city of Chicago.

6. Best food you can find. We have Italian beef, best Mexican food, Gyros, Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, the best hot dog in American, Pizza Pufs. And LA?

7. We have virtually everything, and I mean everything you can find in New York with 1/3 less of the population of New York. The people are nicer and its a better atmosphere overall. My cousins from Chicago also went to LA and didnt like it either.

8. We have immigrants from all over Europe and Eastern Europe who crowd the Public parks and actually have tournaments of soccer based on Nationality. Like mini world cups. All LA has is Mexicans so its no fun.

9. The President is from here.

This is based purely on opinion but! dont take it from me, even the great ANTHONY BOURDAIN said that the only REAL cities in America are Chicago and New York.

It doesn't suck. Except for the winters, like right now its 29 degrees. Its a really diverse city like New York. Also I don't hate on Cali and never have. Maybe make fun of it but never hate on it.

LA > Chicago plain and simple...

@Federico. Winter is actually at the low 50's in LA. Over in Chicago it's like 20 degrees faranheit or maybe even colder LMAO. I love how the cities in LA are spaced out, that's what makes it such a beautiful place. The cool thing about LA is that I can take the metro from North hollywood and be in downtown in about 20 minutes. LA > Chicago

Idk if it sucks but since there natives, (i.e. Federico, Mikethagai, and others), just sit around and hate on Cali it shows they really are so insecure about their own nesting ground that they're trying to make us feel bad from being from Cali, or they try and make Tejanos feel bad about being from Texas. :S
