Help with paying for college?
Where can I find scholarships and grants at college. I need a loan of about $4000 to pay for the rest of school. I prefer getting scholarships before taking out a loan. I've never had to deal with loans before because for the past year a half I've gotten a Pell grant for community college. Now that I'm transferring to a university for college I need loans. I haven't a clue on where to go for loans. The only I know is that you should only do private loans as a last resort. So can anybody help me with finding loans.
School is costing me around $11000for spring
$5500 is being paid for by a stafford loan
$1000 is for college fees which will be out of pocket
$500 is for books which is out of pocket
$4000, which is the rest, needs to be paid for by a loan or scholarship (if I even win a scholarship)

You can still request additional money through financial aid from loans and the departments themselves should have scholarships offered. A scholarship office should be near the financial aid office is what I've found in most universities, check it out.
