Ooma + DSL w/ (no POTS)?

What DSL providers will allow me to use an Ooma and not require a regular landline ?

I use ATT now and I know I can get DSL only from them, but I want to dump ATT ~

I checked sonic.net and dslextreme and it looks like they both require a POTS landline.

I live in San Francisco and we don't use regular house phone very often ... seems ridiculous to pay for it. We each have a cell, so we're considering dumping the Ooma idea, but we'd still need DSL without a POTS landline.

Cable for just internet is too expensive and we don't need that fast of speed. (We have DirectTV.)

Thanks ~

You live in San Francisco, you *WILL* have an earthquake, when that happens the cell system will crash. POTS will still work, you will be able to tell others in the world that you are still alive. Reduce the POTS line to the minimum, residential measured rate. Cheap insurance.

More insurance: when someone really needs you they call on the landline and the cell.
