Does it mean anything if they tell you to bring id and your social to an interview?
I have never done that before only did that after being hired.

It may mean any number of things ranging from the best case scenario where they've looked over all the resumes and have decided that you're on the top of the list and depending on how well the interview goes they're planning to hire you on the spot...
To the worst case where they want both on file so they can verify that you are who you say and that they can run a quickie background check.
