Question about Epson Printer?

I have an Epson Stylus R200 - I have to keep turning it off and on to get it to print. Any ideas what could be the problem? I have windows 7.

You might try a new USB cable - some cables can cause intermittent problems & strange behavior when they are not working perfectly, and you'd be surprised how many people find they have a bad cable for the strangest things & it doesn't look damaged or bad.

You might also want to download the latest printer driver software from Epson for Win7, delete your current printer setup & reinstall fresh. Sometimes certain software updates for windows & other applications will cause a conflict with an older driver/software and sometimes the current driver gets corrupted for some reason & a fresh install can fix things.

Here's the link for the printer drivers:

I even have had very solid success with HP ink, even sitting idle over months it does not seem to dry out. i desire to propose which you sidestep Epson!! I had extensive problems with an Epson Stylus image printer... interestingly by way of fact we did no longer use it for a mutually as, the ink dried out... yet no longer interior the cartridge, someplace interior the works of the printer. they're designed in any different case than, say an HP and between the adult adult males at Staples says that Epson is everyday for ink issues by way of fact of it. This printer is next to ineffective now except we are in a position to get it wiped sparkling someplace.
