It does seem like much of one. At any rate, it's not good, and sounds emotionally abusive.

It sounds like he's become emotionally dependent on you and resents it, so he abuses you.
You don't have a relationship in the traditional sense, you're just two people who live together (if you do).
If you want more from your life, you have to vote with your feet. In other words, leave the baggage behind. He's not a positive aspect of your life.
