Which one of these players do you think is the best?

Are we talkin career wise? If so, Derek Jeter is the choice. With his career of full success of championships, gold gloves, and playoff MVP's, he is the sure hall of famer in this group. Not to mention his ability to keep his simple swing in a game that has changed into a slug fest. When people are talking about him as possibly the best Yankee ever, you must give respect. If we are talking about current skill level, the only choice is Miguel Cabrera....for obvious reasons.

I am giving the nod to Pujols here. All of the listed players are studs, but there is a good statistic called OPS which is the sum of the on-base% plus the slugging%. That is a good barometer for measuring the offensive capability of a player because it means you have a lot of power and also get on base a lot. For his career, Pujols is 6th ALL TIME in that category with 1.022. If your OPS is over 1.00, you are a bigger stud than anyone. There are only 9 players in the history of baseball with a career OPS of over 1. The 5 players ahead of him are Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Lou Gehrig, Barry Bonds, and Jimmie Foxx. That is the most select of company. Plus Pujols is in a very small group of players that has more walks than strikeouts in his career. That is mind boggling. There are my 2 cents.
