i have a 2000 Lincoln LS. i sent it to ford to find out my fuel pump fuse wasnt even in the distribution box.?
They put one in and car ran perfect .. took battery out for a week .. then put it back in now its not getting any fire to fuel pump checked all fuses and relays I'm familiar with.. even tried cut off switch but it's pushed down .. someone please help
By taking the battery out?? I could see if I put it in backwards... but suppose I need to charge battery so every time out take out the battery its goin to killed the computer .. I think It maybe something else because I'm not getting any power to fuel pump at all.. now I was after I charged the battery then put it back in went to start it.. and it wouldn't start up but was cranking brought a test light too find out I I'm not get power to the green wire with orange trace

If you removed the battery then put it back, attaching the ground wire first and the postive cable second; it's possible that you might have "voltage spiked" the ECM. There's a reason why we connect the ground cable LAST.

Both the main fuel pump and the jet pump has float assemblies with switches. Which one is the actual sending unit that goes to the gas gauge on the dash?

why would you take the battery out ? you need to take it back to the dealer and have them reset the computer. taking the battery out killed the computer.
