There's no neighborhood called Brooklyn Beach. There's Brighton Beach, which is right by Coney Island Hospital, but no Brooklyn Beach.
In any case, it all depends, but it likely wouldn't be much more than $10.

WHICH Brooklyn beach???
Plus, it's almost impossible to get a yellow cab in Brooklyn. The only form of livery transportation is usually a car service, and they work off of a flat fee per ride system. You tell the cabbie (or the dispatcher) where you're going and they quote you the fare. There is no meter as there would be in a yellow cab.
Do you know anything about Brooklyn at all? Or are you another clueless kid writing a story?
If you're only writing a story, here's a clue - Write what you know.
EDIT: Oh, no. I just looked back and realized who you are. You're the kid writing a story about NYC who doesn't live here. The last time I told you that you don't know enough about NYC to write about life here, you called my answer "trash". Nice!!!
Look, this question just shows how little you know about NYC! Brooklyn is BIG! It's far bigger than you think. If it were a separate city it would be the 4th largest city in the U.S. How are you going to learn enough about Brooklyn, or anywhere else in NYC, by simply asking questions on the Internet???
Honey, you are a kid, and you are over your head. But at least have a little humility and recognize when you ARE over your head!

It should be something around $10,-. But it is difficult to calculate because it depends more on the distance than on the duration.
Unfortunately I did not find "Brooklyn Beachish" so I couldn't do it by myself but check out the source-website. There you can enter start and destination addresses and get a fairly accurate taxi fare estimation.

It relies upon on the particular community. With long island, you're often finding out to purchase the great apple, great apple handle, so attempt looking in Queens, Brooklyn, or The Bronx. In an common, risk-free community that is extremely a great way from long island, a one-mattress room would fee around $a million,200 a month or so.
