confirmation critique?

Well i dont have much to do at the moment any one want to do a confirmation critique? Speak truthfully as a horse person i dont get offended as i know no horse has perfect confirmation and may not even have good confirmation but still be worth their weight in gold lol. Anyways here is my mare http://i48.tinypic.com/2myccj.jpg she is a 14.2 hand 18 year old grade QH

Update:

woops stupid computer. *Conformation

Update 2:

She is a big girl, she can eat dirt and gain wieght. Wish my gelding would do that lol

Update 3:

And like i said dont be afraid to critique, the good and the bad please!

Update 4:

Ya her feet are awful in this picture it was taken last year, trust me she has been on a strict 6 week trimming schedule! Oh and she is a pasture pet, hurt her hip a few years ago and can be ridden. And she doesnt actually carry her head high, she was a WP horse for years. She isnt one of those that keep their head level at all times, but when she was being ridden it was level lol.

Update 5:

This is a picture my younger sister took for something she had to do for 4-H. We werent really trying for a confirmation shot, because my sister isnt good with angles it does look like she is on a slope. In actuality its only a slight slope, the angle makes it look more then it is.

Update 6:

lol i love it, Thanks for the Critique. No she was not happy to be taken away from her pasture.

Update 7:

I ment to say *CANT be ridden

Update 8:

Jeff Sadler: as stated above the slope comes from a wierd angle that the picture was take from.... it was taken from a 10 year old kid lol The ground if it has any slope is actually pretty minimal

I always look at feet first because they can make a difference, and I have to say, get them trimmed girl. I can't see the fores, but those hinds are chipped, long and bordering underslung and need some TLC.

Otherwise, that back end is quite, quite nice. Lovely angles. I would want to see more muscle, less fat. A little steep at the butt, but it's typical with the breed.

Due to the angle of the picture, she isn't as uphill as she looks. Probably more or less even in the topline, which is nice. Strong shoulder, good bone in the leg. She is pretty under herself, so I'd work on getting her to carry herself more on the hind -- get her working on trot poles and lots of hills to build her hindquarters -- to take some weight off up front.

Neck ties in high and she looks pigeon breasted, with some muscle development on the underside of her neck. Typical in a horse that carries their head high. Based on the chain, muscle on the neck and lack of real muscle elsewhere, I'm going to go out on a limb and say she throws her head a lot, probably when going into a faster gait and gets nervous. I also want to say that based on her nostril there and the up turn of her lips, she looks pretty discontented here too.

Very nice looking mare, nice long deep hip and appears to be correct conformation. Looks like a horse that could do it all. Yep hooves look under slung. But over all I think a nice looking mare,in great shape for 18 years you have reason to be proud of her.

Pretty fair. The only major problems I have with her are her feet and the fact that she must really be built majorly downhill if her back is level on this much of a slope.

LOL pidgeon breast deformity is from a collapsed or narrow chest NOT a wide overly muscled one(NOT to be confused with pidgeon breast fever which is totally unrelated). Your horse is about as far the opposite of pidgeon breast as you can get.

It looks like she's on a hill. It's better to take conformation pictures on a flat even surface.

Somewhat activity to get her match, nice round belly although LOL she has an awfully slim hind however that might be given that of the arab in her total a little bit of endeavor + shes very attractive. Can i have her ? LOL

Congrats on having an actual confo picture!

She's a little fat but other then that I would say she has decent confo for her age.

I don't know a ton about conformation but from what I can tell she has pretty good conformation. Defiantly good enough to show and do well in a halter class (depending on what level you show at)
