Were there any events similar to the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment?

I just need to know if there has been another time in which the government has been proven to be completing a testing or something of the sorts that is unethical. If so, please give specific examples. Thanks!

Yes, check out the CIA brainwashing experiments on unsuspecting patients at a Montreal hospital in the 50s and 60s. 250 patients were subjected to extreme brainwashing experiments and basically destroyed their lives.
