Why am I losing views on youtube?

Why am I losing views? I looked on my account today, and lost 2,000 views. and last week, I lost an additional 500. Why?

Because YouTube no longer takes views as a priority. Why should they? With the proliferation of websites that will take your money, give You Views and or Subscriptions, depend on much you give them, why should the view count even be taken seriously these days?
