is reconditioning of shocks worth it?
i'm using a bajaj ct100cc bike since the rear shocks was very hard i went to a bike mechanic he said the shocks can be reconditioned rather than replacing a new one i also went to other bajaj service center and asked whether reconditioning is a good idea he said NO and every other mechanics in my area said reconditioning is not a good idea except that person what's ur opinion guys?

You can but it's a total waste of money as if ya lucky it'll last around 12 months so go to www.hagon.co.uk, if ya here in the UK, and get one of theirs.
Used 'em for donkeys years, vans cars bikes and even racing sidecars never had a problem other than on the grass track trikes where the ground was rough and basically stuffed every ones suspensions up.

Hi here in the united kingdom a MOT requires that the shock absorbers should work correctly so they need to be replaced for the car or bike to pass the test if they are worn.
it will improve the handling of the machine also as it will not bounce as much on rough roads.

You can recondition the forks, but I've never heard of reconditioning the shocks. At least not with any success.
