It's impossible to completely forget them.
But if they're really bad, do anything you can to take your mind off them. Don't dwell on them.
If you feel like you can't be bothered to help yourself by taking your mind off these things. You must force yourself, even if you don't want to.
Pain heals with time.
You have to accept that they happened and that there may have been huge mistakes that caused bad memories to occur, or even make them worse. You also have to realize that EVERYONE makes mistakes, some larger than others.
No one said life would be easy, but what would be the point if life was really that simple?

Sometimes you can't. The best way is that it shouldn't destroy you as a person. Embrace them then forget them
