Why has my Yahoo Mail changed format? Can I change it back?

We've all got the same problem and i haven't found a way to change it back.

Today is MAY 10, 2014....MY YAHOO / SBCGLOBAL EMAIL FORMAT HAS CHANGED AND IT;S HORRIBLE!!! And it's very confusing to use, not very intuitive like the CLASSIC STYLE. So I'm deleting e-mails by mistake where my cursor is in the wrong space, rather than clicking on the email...and the rest of it is confusing to use also when want to forward emails. Is there a setting we can change to get back the "CLASSIC" Style?

Sure is disgusting. Not having a choice in the matter nor any notice about the change. And it really stinks. The layout is atrocious. Attachments are disappearing, cannot find the text of a reply - sometimes it doesn't show: what a mess. Not having several letters opened and being able to see their tabs all at the same time was a very convenient feature. Now it's gone. Everyone is praising google mail - maybe I should get used to their format and switch.

No need to get upset .... the way to address this issue is simple >>>>> SWITCH TO GMAIL .... Google has it "all over" Yahoo, hands down ! The Yahoo organization, even with their new boss, is most user "unfriendly".

The new format is HORRIBLE! I miss e-mails now because they are clumped together (for a lack of a better way to describe this mess). I desperately need for them to go back to the original format. It was good. They should have left it alone. Does anyone know how to get back the original format!! I'm desperate! Don't want to change but might be forced to. Please someone, HELP! YAHOO, answer our pleas.

What the heck have they done? It's awful and to not contact people in advance is just disrespectful, I'm going to move away from Yahoo mail now unless there is the option to go back. The design is drab and the function is worse than the former version. Why would some genius at Yahoo think that this is an improvement? Are you getting this at Yahoo? We don't like and we don't like your ignorant attitude to us either.

Ive had this mail account for over 10yrs, and I was worried I would have to close the account because a hacker or something. Im so glad Im not the only one! I cant believe they didnt send out a message to let everyone know there was going to be a change. This was not handled very well at all YAHOO!

Yes, whats up with this change?? Its crap! I can now only attach 1 file to an email message. Before you could use the drop down arrow on the 'attach files' button and select 'more files' or something like that, which allowed you to select several files at the same time.

Very very annoying! Com'on Yahoo, change it back to the old version!

Sorry, they make sure you CANNOT switch back to the old version of Yahoo! Mail. Everyone seems to hate the new version but there is nothing we can do about it except maybe switch to Google. At least they have more respects toward their users than Yahoo in my opinion.

I HEARD THAT YAHOO WAS COMPERMISED IN SOME WAY! IN THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS YAOO WAS KINDA DIFFERENT. MY E-MAIL TEXTS WERE FLASSHING AS WELL AS SOME OF MY E-MAIL ATTACHMENTS. I WAS E-MAILING AND MY CURSER WOULD JUMP TO ANOTHER LINE. AND STUFF LIKE THIS. MY CORDLESS MOUSE POINTER WAS ALL OVER THE PAGE AND COULDN'T CONTROLL IT. SO DID WE HAVE SOME KIND OF TROUBLE? IT SEEMS TO BE OK NOW. FEB.12,2014 5 PM. IS THIS WHY OUR STUFF HAS CHANGED TODAY FEB.12, 2014. I DON.T CARE MUCH FOR THIS E-MAIL FORMAT. WILL WE BE GETING OTHER OPTIONS LATER?

Is it possible to go to another email account and take all the emails on yahoo with you? I have stuff I need to keep which goes back several years but this new email format is awful.
