Day month year makes more sense, but as the other countries know, America is too cool for that. Inches, Fahrenheit and month day year. We like to stand out.

Month/day/yr is a notation from smaller numbers to bigger, disregarding that a month itself is longer in time than a day. There's a viable 1-12 for months, 1-31 for days, 1-x for years. So the imperitard notation for time should be month(12)/hours(12/24)/days(31)/seconds(...

    How about Year, Month, Day

    It makes MUCH MORE SENSE!

    -The Taiwanese way, lol

The logic here is... Just like how we write address... The country first, then the city, then road, then the number of the house! If you don't find the country first, how are you supposed to find the city? You don't even know where the city is located!

    So... Big things first...

Year first... So that we know it's December of 2012, not 2009!

    :)
