Find stressed syllables in English?
Hi, for my English test tomorrow I'm required to find the stressed syllables in some words, as I have problems finding them, do you know any tricks to find them? I don't have any problems with pronouncing them right but it's just 'necessary' as the school says.

Andreas, just say each word out loud and work out which syllable you naturally emphasize when you speak the word. For example, in the word 'necessary' you would stress the first syllable ('ne').
Hope that helps.
