Does corrupt political policy cause moral decline, or does moral decline cause corrupt political policy?
I am old enough to see first hand a decline in the morality of this nation. When I was a kid and went to the movies, you never saw a man and woman in the same bed, even if they were married (to each other) in the movie. Now days, not only are they in the same bed (and generally not married, at least to each other) you don't have to use much imagination about what their up to. Also, back in those days politicians, and other leaders were expected to set a high standard of conduct in their personal lives, and generally did.

this question shouldn't be brought on by movies, nudity has been in films since the silent era (1890s)When i was growing up i wasn'tt allowed to watch these movies (good parenting) by the time i figured out they existed they pretty much stopped making them there were alot in the 80s but not so much anymore so if anything there more moral. Besides if you dont like it dont watch freedom of speech.. less people care about the idea of a god and god says you must be married before sex but theres no laws never was so most people dont care.....Maybe you are looking for the bad things now and thats why you see more of them. as for the answer money ccauses currupt political policy and in turn causes the decline of moral

Moral decline causes political corruption.You take away or lower the standard & people expect less.Man is corrupt & sinful by nature. We need Jesus Christ to be made new & reject the old.Your spirit will be changed & will want to do the right things.Not that you always will but it's a process & you try to become a better person

When you were a kid I bet you were also still living in the era where an inter racial kiss was viewed as something controversial. Look up the drama that kicked off when star trek showed the first interracial kiss to be broadcasted.
Those complaints were hardly morally correct
Personally I'd say morality is better now.

Corrupt political policy is caused by an inatentive electorate. Moral decline is caused by intellectual sloth.

Morality is really a matter of ethics. Perhaps you should try to see what you call a "moral decline" as a movement towards "moral honesty".

Sin causes it all. Sin is simply doing what is convenient or personally beneficial for yourself instead of what is right, or good for others.
