Can I carry a knife in Pennsylvania?
I want to know if I can carry a knife in Pennsylvania. How long can the blade be,what type of knife does it have to be? Am I allowed to carry a taser, if so what is the maximum voltage?

Butter knives and cake knives are permissible, but they can be carried
only from the kitchen to the dining room, and the blade length is limited
to not exceed one stick of processed butter (for the butter knives) or for
the cake knives: the length of one short side of a rectangular cake, one
standard side of a square cake (since all sides are equal), or one half of
a round or circular cake (no provisions have been written for oddly shaped
cakes--best to just stick to standard shapes and not incite the ire of the PSP).
A special permit can be purchased to allow one to be able to carry plastic
knives to picnics, but they are usually written for only a certain amount of time,
and once they expire, they expire, and Pennsylvanian cops don't treat plastic
ware lightly...
As far as tazers go...just leave them at home.

TASERs are prohibitively expensive. You are probably thinking of stun guns. I am not familiar with Pennsylvania laws, but according to my late father-in-law, it has to be a folding knife with a maximum 3.5 inch blade.

You need a license for the tazer. I always carry a knife with me.. The blade itself is the size of my middle finger. I never had a problem carrying it. Just keep it concealed at all time. It is for protection after all
