Is this sentence correct?

A sentence in my essay. Can the comma before "revealed" be there?

Though Brendan thinks that his connection to Emily will be revealed,—which would likely lead to his death—he does not attempt to run away from the scene.

Update:

correction: the comma *after* "revealed"

I think you should take out both dashes and put another comma after death. So it would be:

Though Brendan thinks that his connection to Emily will be revealed, which would likely lead to his death, he does not attempt to run way from the scene.

You only want to use dashes if it's really important that the information between them be highlighted. If that is the way you feel about this sentence then you could maybe take out the comma after revealed and leave the dashes. You certainly don't need both.

A comma after revealed and one after death.

Yes, but I reccomend putting one after 'his death' it's like using commas instead of brackets. It's a real thing. And take the dashes - out.
