Suspension in high school affect college?
So I am ranked in the top 10%, 2100+ SAT, and have everything an average top 10% person may have. However, unfortunately, during 9th grade I punches this (very annoying) guy in the nose and got 5 days OSS. So yeah, I'm not trying to apply to Harvard or any ivy league schools (or even schools in the top 20), and I'm just trying to get to Georgia Tech or UGA or maybe Emory (I'm from GA :D ) Do you think my chances will be very negatively impacted? If so, any ideas how to get the counselors to 'repeal' this permanent record? Cause I don't want all my hard work to go wasted, just through one rash action back in 9th grade.

Just put a note in your transcript that you're very sorry, and if you don't get accepted you'll go there and shove their face in. They'll understand that.

Colleges may not see that you simply have been suspended in core institution. They relatively handiest seem at what occurred in top institution. Even so, they're generally extra worried with how you've gotten grown and multiplied alternatively than what errors you made ago.

Colleges don't typically ask for disciplinary records from High School...which i'm lucky because i'm a freshman in high school and i pushed a girl who wouldn't get out of my face and got suspended for over 10 days
