Why do some people hate hunters?

Imagine if there were other living entities above us on the food chain. If YOU were in danger of being on someone's plate perhaps you'd have a change of perspective.

People who hate hunters have a cognitive dissonance between the fact that the meat they buy at the grocery store comes from living, breathing animals that are killed and butchered and the hunter performing the same act.

Somehow killing animals is "okay" if the animals are dumb, raised to be killed, have never known freedom, and the killing is done by strangers in a emotionally-sterile industrial setting, but once it moves outside, once it's your neighbor, once there's an ounce of pleasure taken in the hunt or even the kill, these sheltered, short-sighted city-dwellers wet themselves with fear and disgust at things they haven't a clue about.

i think those people usually fall under the umbrella of idiocracy. I have my argument all set up for when a PETA member or someone like minded starts chewing me out. It goes like this:

Have you bought meat fro the supermarket?

Do you support shelters that euthanize animals?

If one or those answers is yes you are officially a hypocrite because by buying meant from teh supermarket or donating to shelters that euthanize, you have played a part in teh deaths of animals.

Hos is that any different than us hunters going out and just doing the whole process ourselves?

And SOME differentiate by excusing those who hunt 4 food as opposed to those who hunt 4 "fun".

For one, it's kind of creepy to stuff animal skins and have them sitting around the house on display.

because they are animal lovers nd dont like the thought of them being killed cause its sad
