Does getting rubber bands mean that your almost done with braces?

It depends...I had rubber bands for an entire year( though I usually didn't wear them) but I know some people who only wore their rubber bands for a couple of months. Considering that you're taking good care of your teeth, this may be the last stage of orthodontia for you! :)

Same thing happened to me. I ended up getting my braces tightened and a new set of rubber bands, but they said that'd be the last one. Even if this was your last time with bands, they will most likely moniter the behavior of your teeth without them for a few weeks (braces still on) then determine if you can get them off or if you need to continue wearing rubber bands. This could be a few extra weeks, even months.

Even with this said, your best bet would probably be to ask your orthodontist to be certain.

wasnt the final step for me...guess it relies upon however the lower back i swear my orthodontist became loopy..guy informed me a minimum of 5 diverse situations while i'd be getting my braces off..stored dropping metallic products in my mouth while he adjusted my braces.. ahhh properly my enamel are severe high quality and rapidly now
