In Jan. will the democrats have the majority in the house and senate in Mi.?

My husband and I are disagreeing on this subject.

    House:

    ~ republican party - 59

    ~ Democratic party - 51

    *Senate:

    ~ republican party - 26

    ~ Democratic party - 12

    * There was no senate seats on the 2012 ballot.

    No. The republicans lost seats in the house, but they will still have control. Assuming that they all vote the party line, of course.
