  • Big fish problem, too many fish?

Bought a dalmation molly and didn't know it was a she. In 2 months she has had more than 50 babies and I don't know what to do about the overcrowding problem. I have a 15 gallon tank and unless I can get her to stop producing I don't know what to do with all these fish. I don't want to kill them and I don't have room for another tank. Please help.

  • Why does my fish keep having babies?

In the past month and a half one of our fish has had more than 60 babies on 2 separate occasions. First of all it has no mate and seems to have live birth. I thought that fish had to lay eggs. It is a grey and black spotted molly I think. Have had an aquarium for more than 15 years and have never seen this happen. Can anyone solve this mystery?

  • How long does it take for a hematoma to go away?

More than a month ago I tripped over a milk crate and it left 2 large welts on my mid-calf. My ankle began to swell so I went to the doctor and he told me what it was and to put ice on it. It is still the size of a walnut and my foot swells up at night. Should I be worried?

  • Can't remove toilet hinges for toilet seat?

The toilet seat is made out of what i assume some type of hard plastic and is filled with money. It was a gift from more than 30 years ago bought in Las Vagas. Over the years the bolts that hold it to the toilet itself have rusted as well as the ones holding it together. I have tried every thing I can think of including WD40 to loosen it.so I can get it off.. It is quite valuable and I have already bought the replacement but can't get the screws or bolts to budge. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I checked on line and a new one runs $250.00 on Ebay. Thanks in advance.

  • How do I get rid of the never ending algae in our pond?

Since spring I have been battling 2 kinds of algae in the pond.. The string algae and the common slimy stuff. I rake it out every two weeks. I have used the recommended citrine and algeacide but to no avail. This pond is 100' X 50' X 8 foot deep. It has both a waterfall and a bubblier for aeration. I know that it has been a hot dry summer in Mi. but it seems like a losing battle. Has anyone got any suggestions that I might not have tried? It also has fish , turtles and lots of frogs so anything I use has to be earth friendly? .

  • If moss is a weed why can't you kill it or is it a fungus?

Have it growing on our outdoor carpet buy our RV. It can't be moved and I really don't want to replace it. Isn't there a way to get rid of it except by direct sunlight? Asked this question in another category yesterday and no one said that anything much could be done.

  • Would someone with experience please give me some advise on using a shock collar on our dog?

We adopted a 4 year old doberman male from a local shelter and while in the house he is a wonderful dog. but if he is outside its a different story. He won't come when called and barks at nothing if he is on his lead. I bought a shock color on the advise of a friend but the directions that come with it are not clear on how to use it.

We live in the woods and we understand his need to hunt but want him to come when called and stop the barking. This is our 4th dobie and we have not had this experience before but the were all puppies when we got them and then we had a fenced in yard. Any suggestions or websites would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • How do you get moss off an outdoor carpet?

This carpet is at our Rv and stays out year round. At different times of the year the carpet does not get much sun so this green moss grows on it. I have tried bleach, Mean Green, Bathroom cleaner and even scraping it off. Power washing doesn't work either. Any suggestions would truly be appreciated.

  • What can we do with a dog that hates riding in a car?

We recently rescued a doberman from a local shelter. Of course we didn't know that riding in a car would be so stressful on him. He goes completely out of his mind crying and barking. Kind of hard because we travel a lot. Any suggestions would help. He is perfect in the house and the yard and is completely command trained. Why would he be so stressed?
