Can an 11 year old and a 9 year old be left alone at home alone while parents work?

Yes, since they are responsible I say yes.I started staying home when I was eleven and it's not against the law.But make sure they lock the doors and don't answer the door and also make sure they don't use microwave or stove or stuff like that.

I was able to stay home alone for a few hours when I was twelve. So why not. I think it's fine. Just don't use fire for anything. Lock your doors. Don't let anyone in the house, even if it's someone you know. If you face any problems call your father. If it's a very big problem call 9-1-1. Then call your parents.

And if something happens such as a bad emergency daddy would be in big trouble for leaving minors at home alone for the sake of his money find a relative or babysitter to watch your kids while your at work its best to be safe than sorry

I know I was that age when I started staying home with my sister, but we live in a very good neighborhood. If you live in a bad neighborhood, I would say no. Also, can you cook for yourself on a daily basis, without your parents having to be in the room right next to you helping you?

No. Things happen. People break in. Electrical circuits short out. Kids get sick. 5 minutes is a lifetime away in an emergency -- literally.

I was first left a lone at home when i was 10. Just no cooking. Lock the doors. Don't answer the door to anyone. I think its fine.

It depends how long. I wouldn't leave kids that young alone for a long time.
