How has Kobe been able to last this long in the NBA?
It seems like he has to carry his team every night, and that should be extremely straining. Hes 34 and still going strong? How is that possible? How long can Kobe last?

Like most great players, Kobe has learned to adjust his game as he gets older. So he can play better, and longer as well. He's relies more now on his shot than he did say 5 years ago. You don't see him driving to the lane dunking it or making a lay-up as he used to. Kobe getting training during the off-season a few years ago with Hakeem Olajuwon has also benefited him a lot with his post game.

Kobe has worked beyond hard.. Through all of his bad and successful years in the NBA, Kobe has developed a knowledge of the sport.. He has handles, he's a great shot especially under pressure, he knows how to feed his teammates, and he trained with Hakeem Olajuwon to learn the basics of Posting.. He's an all-around phenomenal player of the sport.. Just look at all his achievements; championship rings, mvps, 81 points in a game (Not much teamwork, but this was when he was very young) He trains to stay on top.. Kobe did say in one of his interviews that he doesn't know if after his contract ends, if he can still or if he still wants to continue to practice and perform at an elite level..So based off of that, It sounds like Kobe might be retiring after his contract ends in 2-3 years.. He's deffinitely going in the hall of fame

Eat a fatty furry one ho. Kobe is a slimey reptile creature and can by no means even be 1% of the man shaq is! He bulldozed kobe to these so referred to as 5 ships if kobe used to be through himslef he woulda now not even acquired one and woulda worn himself out. 3 of those aer shaqs he used to be mvp he was once the great player. So kobe simplest has 2. Offcourse shaq doesnt symbolize the la fakers the equal workforce that rigged it up towards sacramento to ensure that the nba to earn a living off the celeberties adn sheep like u willing to follow them

Kobe is a warrior, and he is fighter. He comes into the season in shape every single year so he is prepared for anything. If he has to put in more work to compensate for an injury to a teammate, he will do that. His stamina and conditioning is top notch. He adds new elements to his game so it can survive when his athleticism has eroded. Now he can just play on skill and still be an elite player. The one thing I have always said about SHaq. If he came into the year in shape instead of playing his way into shape nearly each year of his career, he would have more awards and accolades, particular regular season MVP.

His game doesn't rely on overwhelming athleticism. Have you seen what's going on with Wade? His game is all athleticism that's what going to happen once you age and you start losing it. Kobe on the other hand has developed a good jumper, post game, and he's the best tough shot maker in the NBA so you can last very long in the NBA being able to shoot the ball basically. Look at Ray Allen, he's thriving with the Heat.

Kobe has been able to stay healthy for the most part and has kept his determination to win. That's one thing he has that MJ didn't. MJ lost interest twice. Kobe has kept it going. And kobe has adjusted his game. He went from a really good shooter to a great shooter and has become a great post player. And Kobe got that German knee surgery thing that took a lot of pain away for him.

Even though I hate the Lakers, Kobe is playing very good rite now. Most guys lose it at this point, but Mr. Bryant looks like he is in his prime.
