its worth fixing up if your gonna spend a good amount of money on decent parts otherwise dont waste your time or money. racing an auto well thats another story that requires more money. its a four speed automatic. if your gonna spend money on it then you can convert it to a five speed manual. yeah its front wheel drive.
basic mods are a good start and then when your not satisfied you start build project =]

it is worth fixing up
they do look nice convert the front end to a integra type r front end
with the proper engine swap it is fast
it can be a five speed but you said your friend has an automatic one but they do make them five speed

i would fix one up but all motor
