Obama is a decent president in a bad economic time. The conservatives hate him for multiple reasons, some of which have to do with race, some because of his stance on taxes for the weatlhy, and some because he has finally put in place a national plan to increase health care insurance.. They pile the hatred up even higher by making up lies about him, such as his religion (he is not a Muslim, tho they call him one) and his birthplace (from birther nuts). They also lie about his healthcare insurance overhaul, calling it a federal takeover and socialized medicine, which it is neither.

Victor gave you a well-thought-out answer. The respondent that made reference to the subjectivity of the words "good" or "bad" was also correct, especially since there is no context provided.

Sincerity, wisdom, courtesy, compassion, a deep-rooted love of country, multi-tasking better than anyone in recent history, an FDR-like approach to healing the nation's wounds, incredible patience with the goings-on in Congress or on Faux "news" and its propaganda-spewing affiliates...each of these traits are part of what makes President Obama a good leader and a very good man. His love for his family is impressive, and the apparent lack of ego is refreshing.

Michael Grunwald, a "Times" editor, has written a definitive book, "The New New Deal: The Hidden Story of Change in the Obama Era," that is worth a read for those who are unaware of the many positive changes that have been made since President Obama was sworn in. In addition, there are the whitehouse.gov and recovery.gov plus politifact.com's Obameter that provide additional insight into the rather incredible record of our nation-saving President Obama, should your readers wish to do some independent research.

President Obama is a very good man and, as a President, he is well on his way to greatness.

After the dishonesty, war mongering, and wasteful disaster of the Bush years, Obama seems like a rainbow over the battlefield of greed, deceit and need.

Well that all depends on if you are a Democrat or a Republican. I would have to say he is good because most of congress in Washington really like him but - business is business and pleasure is pleasure. They have to have conflict just to satisfy the ignorant public. We pay these guys for a show so they give us one. Like the Fiscal Cliff - All Show!

Strictly bad news, just look at the direction the country is heading. It is going down the toilet via express. This cat thinks he he has free reign to do as he thinks, and spend this country into prosperity.Just since his first term, the national debt has increased a few trillion dollars.

He is good, now that it's his second term in office he can work on what he started, making a change in America, if Romney would of won, he wouldn't of had a chance to make any changes.

    Source(s): 2 terms can make a difference.

    Good.

He has empathy with the ordinary people he was chosen to lead.

Bad would be serving a very narrow interest, as the GOP does.

    Thanks.

Not really. He's just the guy that happens to be POTUS. Like everybody else he has god qualities and bad ones. .And some that other people make up.
