Do a lot of people dislike/hate Queen just because Freddie Mercury was gay?

I love Queen's music regardless of Freddie Mercery's personal life and I liked them before I knew he was gay.

No. People who like Queen for their music, They don't care that Freddie Mercury was gay. No more than they care about a lot of good entertainers, both male and female, being gay.
