What's with the NY Jets ?

Whats to become of my new York Jets ? Have been rooting for them since getting my first season tickets way back in '67, when they drafted the inept and flamboyant Joe Namath. Can you imagine a qb with more career interceptions than TD's ? Now they've gotten themselves into a worse mess,...with coach Ryan, qb imposter Mark Sanchez and then there's Tim Tebow standing in the wings. Whats to happen with Tebow ? What a mess,...Guess this years Superbowl is out, right ? Or do they still have a chance to get there ?

I am a Jets fan as well since I was 5 (1991). They need to get rid of Ryan and Sanchez. I am a big Tebow fan and don't think that he would be that bad. I think that they need to trade him to the Jags if they aren't going to use him (helps both teams. Puts butts in the seats in Jax and Jets get a draft pick for him to help some). Well Jets have a good shot at the playoffs if they win out and get a little help. Superbowl, I think we can say that is out because WR are terrible.

I can tell you for certain, that the Superbowl is a pipe dream for the Jets. The playoffs look a bit more realistic, since they are 5-7 and still within reach. However, the main issue with the Jets franchise has been their lack of attention as it relates to drafting key players. There are a few players that the Jets have drafted that have made key differences like Darelle Revis and at one point Dustin Keller. However, the players that the Jets seem to draft, do not work out in the long run. Drafting Mark Sanchez was a big mistake, and we are seeing that as we watch each game.

The GM for each NFL team is in part responsible for putting the right players in the right position for the team to succeed. As it stands, the Jets have failed as it relates to drafting solid players, and we are seeing mediocrity each year. The Jets are a franchise that has yet to return to its form of old, because of how poorly managed the team is by their GM and owner. I expect nothing less than a Jets team to be mediocre until they begin to draft key players, and focus on key positions like WR and QB.

Dude, just give up now. The Jets are done for this year. In the slim possibility that they actually make the playoffs, they will be one and done. I watch the way their offense operates and I see no way they can beat an elite team with that conservative style. They are basically riding their defense at this point like they did in Sanchez's rookie year which would not be a problem if they still had the #1 D which they do not.

Just THIS year out of the Superbowl? They going to be out of the Superbowl much less playoffs until they get a structed locker room. Everybody got their own type of drama. Its something negative every week. Its like the inmates running the jail there. Can't find a starting QB who can constantly put TD's in the endzone, got Tebow drama, terrible defense etc. The whole system is screwed up.

It's great to see Jets still have loyalty fans. Their problem started from the top down, from owner to players.
