pool - cue tip - screw on or glue on?

wich one gives you more "feel"? the advantages and dis-advantages of the two? is there a certain glue for this? does the type of glue affect anything? whats the screw on even for, just to change it fast for a certain shot?

Screw on tips are for cheap, garbage cues that you would find at Wal-Mart. Don't worry about the glue, as I imagine you won't be the one re-tipping your cue. Take it to somebody who knows what they are doing and has a cue lathe. Your local billiard supply store will handle all of your needs.

screw-on tips ?...these are the WORST sticks ever made !!...this is something you might find at K-Mart

glue-on tips?....it's MUCH better...but you still have to look at the whole stick...you can put a glue-on tip on top of a broom stick !!

a DECENT stick is always going to cost $200-$300...play with care & these things last 50 years
