Will I be eligible to work?
I am 15 years old but am 16 in less than 2 months. I have been given a national insurance number, if I apply for jobs will I legally be allowed to work?

You cannot leave school yet, until the official leaving date - and in 2013 you will be required to stay in education until you are 17 at least - either in 6th Form, college, or an Apprenticeship; the school leaving age is effectively changing. So you won't be able to work full time (even assuming you could find a job anyway!) but, as now, you can work part time eg Saturday job.
NB It's normal to get your NI number a couple of months or so before you reach 16.

As long as you have your NI card you can start working but remember there will be over 2000 people applying for the same job as you will and from past experience the person with the highest uni degree will get chosen first, I have a list of qualifications and years of work experience in admin/finance/retail and applied for over 9000 jobs in 11 months and only got 3 interviews, Good Luck
