The chronological order of the kingdom hearts games are:

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep (PSP)

Kingdom Hearts (PS2)

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories(2D)(Gameboy Advance) or Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories (PS2)(3D)

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (timeline overlaps with chain of memories)(DS)

Kingdom Hearts II(PS2)

Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded(DS)

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance(3DS)

But personally I don't think you should play them in chronological order. This is because if the game creator's intention was to make an emotional story that was easy to understand, then they would've released the series in chronological order, but they didn't. If you'd rather play the game like a person who has been following it from the start than you should follow this order:

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories(2D)(Gameboy Advance) or Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories (PS2)(3D)

to properley follow it's probably better you play them in the order they were relased.

My favorite charecter would be Axel or the guy with the big spikey hair. He's a bit of both he is also called Lea in the newer games (Axel is what is called a nobody it is when someone looses a heart to the heartless but there will and conisuness is to strong to die or fade so they live has creatures who don't have real feelings, Lea is human name for when he manages to return to the relam of light has a normal human). He's a hard one to figure out he's the type of guy who has no trouble stabbing anyone in the back if it serves his purposes, but he will protect his friends with his life. Only problem is it's hard to figure out which side people fall on that.

For his relationship with Sora he is an antognist for the most part however he becomes best friends with a nobody who uses Sora orginal body has a vessel (Roxas). When Sora and Roxas merge Axel goes about at first trying to turn Sora into a heartless so he can try to bring Roxas back and fill his oath to protect him. However Axel eventually realzies why they were fused together they are the same two people so he takes the oath he made to Roxas and extends it to Sora. First sacrficing his nobody form so Sora can reach a group of nobodies called Organziation 13, and the 2nd time saving Sora from being possed by series antgonized Xenohort.

It starts like this Kingdom Hearts Birth by sleep, Kingdom Hearts 1,Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts Chain Of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 2, Kingdom Hearts Coded, and Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance.

That's them in order I BLIEVE,, if I made a mistake sorry... My favorite character has got to be Sora the main character... The Only guy I've Ever seen with Red Hair in KH has got to be Axel he was bad guy at first in Chain of Memoriesbut them he helped Sora later on in KH2

My favourite character is Ventus XD He's awesome.

His name is Axel. He used to be evil.

This is his background in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep

He was named Lea. He used to be sided with light. His best friend was Isa, but later when he joined the Organization XIII, his named changed to Saïx. Axel(or Lea, I prefer Axel XD) then joined the Organization. From that time, he begins to side with darkness. His best friend was Roxas.

Later in Kingdom Hearts II...

Axel betrayed the Organization and fought alongside with Sora, Donald and Goofy with countless Nobodies when they and King Mickey were on their way to The World That Never Was to find Kairi and Riku.

This is hilarious but Axel keeps calling himself Lea from then onwards. But in the end... I don't want to spoilt that moment because I was laughing like madness. Not telling you, okay? =)
