I'm going to buy a lot of the southern vampire books, and I was wondering, how different is the books from the show? Which is better ? Are the characters the same? I've read that Tara is a lot different from the books in the show, is that true? I just wanted a heads up, thanks! :)

I had a dream a while ago, and it was about snakes and a dark river.

I was running, I don't know from what. I saw it was starting to have grey and black storm clouds, filling the sky. When I look up to the sky again, it completely covered by the clouds. The ground has dying, yellow and a little bit of green grass. The road is dark, dry, and cracked dirt. I come across a river. The road ends at the river. It's only about 5 or 6 feet deep, but it's completely clear. It looks like its just air, but there are fish in it. I run in, knowing I'm being followed. When I go in, I can hold my breath, but I don't need to breath. I look around, and the ground in the river has moss, and instead if seaweed, they have snakes.

They are beig held by their tails into the ground, and they are striped, like yellow and black, white and black, and colors like that. I know a lot about snakes, so I know what species they were when I walk by them. They are swimming around me like th fish, all types of snakes. I see river bank, I see snakes all along tr ground, gardner snakes, corn snakes, gopher snakes, and small species like that. I'm not afraid, but instead I feel calmer when I see them, like they are my friend. I still feel like I'm being followed, so I climb out of the river, and see dead broken trees, but there is soft green grass.

I keep walking, an I meet a "mysterious traveler". He greets me, and we walk down the path. I dot see his face, but I feel he would protect me, even in the land of death.

I forgot what happened after that. Does this mean anything?

She and her brother are about to go Into the forest to look for his missing gun he dropped while hunting, and the guy is a police guy the mother let stay for a few nights. He is just really into his job, so he is really suspicious and the daughter just got back from collage

Harry= brother, Kent= Police officer, 1st person/Hunter= daughter

"Il pack some food!" Harry says excitedly. I wave dismisivly as I walk into the kitchen with a smile on my face. Its good to be back with him again.

I swing the door open, and feel along the wall in the dark, and find the light switch and flip it on.

I walk over to a drawer next to the fridge, while I tug at my shorts, and correct my black tank top. 

I open the drawer and move the wash cloths around in it, hoping Harry had kept the flashlights hidden under them.

"And what are you doing up so late, Hunter?" A voice comes from behind me. I jump, and start to think of an explanation of why I was up. I turn around, and see Kent leaning on a wall, watching me with interest. 

I relax slightly, relieved it wasn't mom. I tug on my tank top again, nervousness spreading through me. 

"I... I could ask you the same thing." I say quickly. He was wearing no shirt, black sweats, and socks.

I glance at the door, making sure Harry wasn't there, or near the door. I clear my throat, and put my hands on my hips, leaning on my right leg. 

He raises an eyebrow, and gives me a Once-over. I'm tempted to cross my arms, to cover my chest, but I stand still.

"I couldn't sleep. I was going to go for a walk." I say slowly, picking my words carefully. He walks over, closer to me, and I lean backwards casually on the counter, closing the drawer with the back of my thighs. The cold wood gives me a shiver. My hands grip the counter, the edges pinching at my palms. I tell myself to relax, but it doesn't work very well.

So, when I was 5 or 6 or somewhere around that age, I was staying the night at my friends house. I woke up in the middle of the night, an I saw that the room had like a soft, bluish, purple glow. I saw a white wolf, sitting in the middle of the room, watching me. I remember how calm it looked, and how odd it was that my friend (Alyssa) didn't see it. I guess I let out a little scream, just because I was suprised. Alyssa woke up, but couldn't see it. She was next to the wolf, and was asking me what was wrong. I just kept staring at the wolf, and it watched me. I slowly started to crawl to the other edge of the bed, not breathing, Half out of fright, and half out of curiosity. After that I woke up, and Alyssa was just staring at me, and I realized I was at the other side of the bed, clutching a blanket.

Does this reprisent anything? I was just curious.

So I'm 16 right now, and I'm trying to choose between being a firefighter or a Police officer.

I know that both jobs can be laboring, work crazy hours, and can be boring at times.

I tried to look up questions like this already, but couldn't find an adequate one that I needed. I thought of these two jobs because I really like to help, and/or protect people.

A few questions for all of you FireFighters and cops who decided to click on this question:

How much do they pay? (Either job)

Pro and cons?

What do the jobs require? (like high school degree and such)

Do females get harassed a lot?

How many hours of medical training do you need to have? How long would you have to train?

And not exactly in twilight were Jacob imprints on Renesmee, Kinda though lol

Like if you see someone and after a while you feel so attached to them, you know you love them (hard to explain) If you've read the twilight series you know what I'm talking about. I know they're not real, but I mean like tapping into the raw nature of the human mind. You feel like you've "imprinted" on them. Not exactly like twilight, but in a slight way. Hard to explain lol

Ok, so I am having a long distance relationship with my "feonce" (forgot how to spell it)

We are both sophomores in high school, he is 16, I'm 15.

When I first met him, I was crazy about him, (i honestly thought i was in dire love with him) but he didn't know, so we were just friends.

A while after I moved to Oregon, from Idaho (over 400 miles apart), he told me that he loved me. So me, feeling like the most happy person in the world, spilled the beans about my feelings about him, and we made a relationship.

After a few weeks of having a long distance relationship, I was joking about marriage, and he proposed to me over the phone, and i said yes. He said once we were able to see each other in real life, he would propose correctly.

When we got engaged, (over the phone) he talked about were we would live, what we would name our kids, he wanted a boy first, and a girl, and wanted to name him after himself. I found that funny.

We have been engaged for a couple months, but I don't feel the spark anymore. (remember we are both sophomores in high school)

And I know your thinking, how stupid it is I be engaged in high school, and how it won't work out, I know all of that, I see your point, I really do.

But while we talk on the phone, he doesn't sound excited anymore, never says I love you, or I miss you, only when I say it to him.

(does it sound like he is cheating?)

So I've been thinking lately if I shoul break it off with him, just so its easier for both of us.

I don't feel the excitement, or spark we used to have anymore, but I don't want to hurt him.

When I imagine my life with him, it only seems partially interesting. The old feelings of love still barely linger, but it's a little boring.

So, a few questions: can you fall out of love?

What do you suggest I do?

I'm in the process of writing a novel, and one of the characters is going to be a Cupid, but I've been wondering If Cupid could be female? I know that originally Cupid was a male, (Eros) the son of Aphrodite.

And if it would make sence to have a female Cupid, what would their powers be?
