and protective helmets while cycling on public roads?

    If so, then all cars also have to be painted neon, and (since motorists get head injuries just as frequently as cyclists) all motorists have to wear helmets too.

    There are already laws mandating lights for cyclists in low visibility conditions. If you already can't see a cyclist in the road, no amount of high visibility clothing is going to make a difference. Maybe you need your eyes checked.

    That is what you need, another f*cking law. You f*ckiung liberals think you can solve everything with a law. If they made a law against stupidity you would have to be locked up.
