Finding out that your brother and mother are dead on national TV is horrific.... But suddenly finding yourself in handcuffs and your apartment door kicked in because you have been wrongfully named a suspect???

The cops had probable cause when they broke in. They had evidence that he was the one who did the shooting. The guy was arrested and then questioned before he was released. Things like this happen a lot more than you think. He can sue if he wants but a judge would throw the case out because nothing illegal was done to him.

I doubt it. His brother had Ryan's identity on him, so as that they have been going with the educational available on the time. To sue the click for an blunders, you will desire to tutor malice and there replaced into no malice interior the reporting. So he does not get something for it. this is tragic that he lost his mom and brother, who's the main hated guy in united states of america, and then human beings have been hating on him for it.

I don't think he should. When these things happen, the atmosphere is poisonous and everyone suddenly has a weight of tension on their shoulders, anxiety, especially the police. It's a reasonable mistake, and under stress people make accidents. No one's perfect. Of course, it'd be logical to sue them, but it wouldn't be right, and I'm sure he'd understand and reason.

No, claim against the city or state of NJ

But he would have a claim against his brother for identity theft

Relax.Little kids were killed, the police had to react as quick as they could. Many other kids lives could depend on it.
