Difference between Intel's i7-3610m and i7-3610qm?
I have searched for a while now and I still haven't found an answer to this. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Going to keep this one simple.. Both are Quad-Cores, except the Core i7 has Hyperthreading. Hyperthreading helps a great deal with heavy workloads. The Core i7 is fit for a workstation or a PC that runs a lot of video editing programs. The Core i7 processors is what's used in these Macs that are suppose to be so good with video editing. Hyperthreading creates an illusion that you really have 8 cores according to the operating system. Intel's claim is you can run 2 threads per core... which is partly true but more of a false claim in a way. what Hyperthreading really does is each core can have access to two threads. So, when the processor is finished with one task, it can start on the second one right away. While this makes the core work harder, it can give you a 30% performance boost with the right application. In gaming and other normal tasks you will never notice the difference.
