should i message him first or wait for him to message me?
A couple days ago my good friend informed me of someone who wants to ask me out but was to nervous to do it. She and this guy are very good friends. Finally yesterday we talked on facebook for a good hour but i was the one who initiated the conversation. He did seem interested in talking though.. he actually put in an effort to talk rather then simple one or two word replies. Should i step back now and wait for him to try to talk to me?

Yes, boys enjoy the air of mystery. If you don't talk to them then they will be all like "Why isn't she talking to me, we were getting along so well" etc. and he will pop up to you on facebook. It also makes you seem like you are busy doing something else, which is always good as guys like a social, popular girl. I'm not saying play games with him, it is alright to talk to him first but just don't keep being the one to make conversation or it will make you seem desperate. Wait a while and see if he says anything, if not and you really want to talk to him then it's fine if you start the conversation first.
