Can you put UBUNTU on a Chromebook?
Having difficulty Chromebook to add a printer and scanner. Can I put UBUNTU or even windows on a chrome book?

Ehm, it's not that simple I'm afraid. The new samsung arm chromebook does not have a stable linux distro yet, which is due to the arm chip. Some enthusiasts are working on it, but it's still under development. You would have better luck with the acer as it has an intel chip and a large hard drive that can be easily partitioned so you can dual boot it to either chrome os or some linux version like ubuntu or fedora. I suppose theoretically it is possible to install windows on the acer chromebook, but i haven't heard of anyone doing it yet. Hope this helps

It won't cost you to try. Burn it to a DVD or stick and boot it. I prefer Mint, but have tried Bodhi, Puppy and Ubuntu. All good.
