I am not cold, my heart physically aches over that shooting. But.... the names of the child victims in CT are already published. Why? The shooter's mom was shot in the face - why do we have to know that right now? 6 and 7 year-olds were shot at close range multiple times with a shot gun. Isn't it too soon to be publicizing this? Didn't the shooter's dad find out about the shooting from a reporter in the street? Wth/f is that!!? It is hurtful and horrible.

Yes, until today I wait with bated breath for gory details of stuff like this. Why? Because I was sucked in to the disaster porn as someone called it.

Stop letting them desensitize you and dumb you down. You are useless when you come to think and feel that watching from a sofa is the equivalent to doing something of value.

I hope YOU will be mindful of who you are supporting when you partake of victim exploitation on tv. Do you best to spread a message of reform. Act in a reformed way.
