99.99% of gun owners are responsible, so should the .01% ruin it for everyone else?
Also the ones who ruin it are many times are not ever gun owners themselves.
I do feel that way about muslims also. By the way I aam libertarian. Also the Muslim statistics I doubt are 99.99%:.01 ... Proof, watch the Dearborne MI Muslim video.

I believe we should be allowed to have tanks, jet fighters, drones, etc. in case someone invades our lawn.

Well, stronger regulations should be made if 99.99% don't use it anyways, so im not saying complete eradication, but just some stronger enforcement. Think about it. If they don't use it anyways, then the stronger enforcement won't matter.
But you're right, the stronger enforcement shouldn't change the routines of the faithful ones.
It's just... if they're not gun owners themselves, then "responsible" ones lent it to them, or were foolish enough to not lock it away. Besides, stronger regulation is a small, small, SMALL price to pay in exchange for preventing what happened to those Conneticut children.
The event rocked the nation. Let's not rock the world next time.

Care to show some statistics that prove such a claim?
In fact, the most recent stats I could find show that in 2004, the country had 44 million gun owners, and there were, that year, roughly 75,000 accidental and intentional gunshot injuries and deaths. That alone is .17%, and does not even count other gun related crimes, such as robberies, rapes, etc.
I agree that most gun owners are responsible, but the stats you quote are BS.

What a bizarre made-up statistic.
However, if you believe that 99.99% of a group should not be painted with the broad brush of the madness of the .01%, then I'm sure you feel that way about Muslims?

Of course not. Just because a problem is cited or claimed does not mean a problem exists, in some instances.
It may be beneficial to start employing security guards in schools, or ask cops to consider doing shifts in schools. Parents and children should not have to be afraid of sending their children to school.
The problem is not the guns, these mass shooters are going to locations where persons are in large numbers. For these types of establishments or schools, they should have cops or security guards there.

Yes, if the one percent who are violent or mentally ill know they can take a gun and kill. Guns are scary and dangerous. In my opinion, I dont see how anyone gets enjoyment from using one. And kids who find them, no way Id have one.
