I'm a pretty laid back person. I love to cook, and I'm always looking up new recipes, or to see if something I want to do has been done before. I love to swim, and I do like being outside, though I'm not a fan of too many sports. Mainly I just like hockey. I like to play my xbox, and make eggos with my lovely boyfriend, who is just so sweet to me. I used to sing publicly, but now its just reserved for my shower and my car. Its just as much fun. I have 2 massively large "kittens" that I get to snuggle with when I'm home alone, and I'm a huge chocolate fan, even though I'm not allowed to eat it. I sneak it sometimes, but I pay the price. Totally worth it.

  • Where can I find more dresses like this?

I have a wedding to go to in May in Florida. I like this dress, but have ordered something from a similar outfit and it was insanely tiny. So I don't trust it. I am looking for a chiffonish dress preferably with a flutter sleeve. Any site with feminine dresses would do too.

  • Using MS Publisher how can I create tear-off tabs at the bottom of a document?

The templates aren't working well and I can't seem to change the backgrounds. I am using the most recent version, and I really find it to be less useful and less customizable than before. I am trying to just use a table with one column and highlighted outlines, but I can't adjust the text to have the right spacing and things like that.

Is there an easier way to do this? Why is this not just a page feature that you can add. I am sure a lot of people do this, not everyone can use the stupid template of which there are only 2. according to the search feature.

  • how long is streusel topping good for?

I made it maybe a week and a half ago. Its just butter, brown sugar, oats and spices. I was going to find a use for it. It seems a little dry. I stored it in a glass container with an air tight lid. It smells fine. I was thinking maybe mix it into a crumb crust type thing, but I am unsure. Thoughts?

  • Can you name this movie?

I think it was from the mid to late 90's. Maybe the early 90's but I'm not sure.

All I can remember is that there is a guy who is like, a superhero, and he can see ghosts... Or maybe he is a ghost? I think his wife died or he died?

But the part I know for sure is that he drives a big black old car type thing and the villain's lair is in an abandoned lot, but the building is invisible. Its set in a city like NY or Gotham type. the theme of the movie was dark. I think the guy wore a trench coat?

I thought it was called The Phantasm, but I found a movie called "Phantasm" and its not. Maybe his superhero name is "Phantasm" or something? Idk, Help??

  • Gluten-free Choc chip cookies, which recipe sounds better?

    1:

    1 stick of butter

    1/2 c + 2 tbsp olive oil

    1 egg

    1/2 C almond milk

    1 C brown sugar

    1 C white sugar

    2 1/4 C gluten-free flour

    1 tsp baking powder

    1/2 tsp salt

    1/4 tsp Xanthan gum

    OR

    1/2 C yogurt

    1/2 C + 2 tbsp olive oil

    1/2 C vanilla almond milk

    1 C brown sugar

    1 C white sugar

    Same dry ingredients.

Would one work better than the other? I was trying to cut down on butter consumption. I could add an egg to the second one as well. Idk, ideas?

  • Vegan and/or gluten-free chocolate chip cookie recipe?

I am asking this again to be more specific.

Gluten-free chocolate chip cookie is the end goal. I would say I am an adept home baker. I am just starting to do gluten-free baking though. I have Bob's red mill AP gluten-free flour mix. That's a constant. I live in a rural area where these things are expensive, and few and far between.

I normally use the Nestle Toll House Traditional recipe. 2 sticks of butter, 2 1/4 C flour etc..

I would like to use almond milk. I have vanilla. I want to use it up.

I can use eggs, I have french vanilla yogurt, I may even have vegetable shortening (Crisco type) but I prefer not to use that.

If you do have a recipe using the almond milk could you please post the amount? The traditional recipe doesn't call for milk, so I am not clear on how much to use. I like a chewy cookie, if that makes a difference.

I also change the traditional recipe a little to half butter half shortening, and 1 full cup of brown sugar and half a cup of white. to make it more chewy and soft. (Just an ex.)

Please help? I need to make them for a party tomorrow (Yes I have gluten-free chips as well.)

  • Gluten-free baking flour subs?

Can you sub a flour mix cup for cup to wheat flour? I have Bobs Red Mill all purpose gluten free flour.

  • Gluten-free chocolate spritz cookies?

I found a recipe for spritz cookies, but I can't find one for chocolate spritz cookies.

The recipe I found calls for 2 1/4c. gluten-free all purpose flour ( I have the red mill kind.) I was thinking of doing 1/4c cocoa powder and 2c of the flour. Would this be chocolate enough?

Or does anyone have a recipe?

  • How to use FB chat on WP8 (Nokia 820)?

    I have a Nokia 820 WP8.

Chat is set to available, I checked with my live account and that is all set. I can see literally everyone on my friends list under the "people" setting. But it doesn't whether or not they are online. And even with people I know are online, it just says "Write on wall, text, or call" for options.

I apparently don't even know where to look. I want to avoid using the FB mobile app as much as possible. It isn't very good, and its not good for chat at all, as everything just shows up as a message.

Anyone know how to work this thing? I looked on the WP central site, and that just tells me to check my Live.com permissions again. Not how to actually access the chat. It worked perfectly well on my WP7... ?

  • Who is that actor that looks like Robery Downey Jr but is not him?

I can't even think of a movie he is in, but he is a famous guy. He did a lot of movies when Robery Downey Jr. was being all bad *** with the rehab and whatever.

I feel like there was a movie with something about apples, or the alphabet maybe?

  • How do kills work in COD: Black Ops 2?

I am not sure how to phrase this, but there are times when my boyfriend plays that he gets very frustrated with the fact that someone will take 6+ shots to go down (and he almost always gets head shots) when he gets killed in one shot.

I am assuming that there is head gear or something like that that gives you higher armor rating, but he says that doesn't happen when you play online with other people. Like in team death match.

Basically, I am sick of hearing him swear at the TV. Its really annoying. Are people using mods to be able to get hit a bunch? And its not just that he's a bad shot, (I mean he is sometimes) but I can see him hit them and they don't go down. So what is happening? Is he just terrible, or does he not know how to play properly? (He has been playing with the COD franchise since the beginning and claims there is nothing he could have missed. But I think he is missing something.)

  • veggies to go with this meal?

I am making steak, mushroom gravy, and rice pilaf for dinner. We had carrots and brussel sprouts last night, so I was looking for something different. It is still a bit chilly where I love so something like butternut squash could work, but we've been eating that for months.

if you have any interesting ways of preparation that would be appreciated. I can always do pan seared zucchini, but that's boring :P

Just trying to decide if I should do garlic shrimp (stove top with butter and garlic) over noodles with pesto sauce

    Or

Marinate the shrimp in the pesto sauce and do an alfredo type sauce

    Or

  • Vegetables for breakfast?

Trying to eat healthier, but I always find myself eating fruit (and sometimes pastries which are just outright bad for me.)

I do like breakfast foods like eggs and hash (with potatoes and beef) but I just feel like a fatty when I eat it. But I also can't seem to find a good side dish of vegetables that says "good morning" rather than "good night."

Do you have any dishes that you like?

  • pumpkin bars v pumpkin brownies, which have you tried?

I am going to make pumpkin bars of some kind. I have found 2 recipes, and can't decide which to make. One has no leavening at all, the other has baking soda and powder (more like a cakey bar)

I don't want them to be utter mush, I have cream cheese frosting I am going to use. The fudgy brownie type recipe only calls for 2 eggs, but the cakey one calls for 4, so I was thinking of doing 3 eggs and using the baking soda/powder and hoping for a less cakey, but still bar like pumpkin brownie.

    Thoughts?
